I was inspired to paint this after a personal reflection of my heartfelt gratitude to all who served and to many who ultimately gave their very lives for us to live in freedom in this great country.
In honor of this, I named the painting,
"Freedom's Price".

"Freedom's Price"
represents my hope that we will return to God for help. Our founding fathers openly acknowledged and requested God’s help that birthed America as a free nation. May it always be the reality of America, as expressed in our National Anthem, that “…the star-spangled banner yet waves, o’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?”
"But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever."
John Adams, letter to Abigail Adams, July 17, 1775
"No country upon earth ever had it more in its power to attain these blessings than United America. Wondrously strange, then, and much to be regretted indeed would it be, were we to neglect the means and to depart from the road which Providence has pointed us to so plainly; I cannot believe it will ever come to pass."
George Washington, letter to Benjamin Lincoln, June 29, 1788
